Vacancy: Customer Account Manager (maternity cover)

Customer Account Manager (maternity cover), full-time, home based. Established in 2001, Esdebe Consultancy is a fast-growing dynamic solution provider having built a strong track record in delivering technically advanced, value-added services. The role of Customer Account Manager is responsible for customer retention by establishing strong commercial relationships, maintaining service excellence and customer satisfaction. Collaboratively working with the Esdebe team and other stakeholders. Ensuring the service provided meets customer’s expectations, is aligned to contract / delivery agreements, governance and agreed standards / processes.

The job role:

    • Customer retention and establishing strong commercial relationships.

    • Develop new and maintain existing account development strategies and plans.

    • Adhere to sales governance / processes for all sales activities including account planning and stage reviews.

    • Conducting regular customer reviews and undertaking customer care calls, maintaining the customer relationship, exploring new business opportunities.

    • Issuing customer renewals and follow-up calls to ensure quotations are accurate and meet customer’s needs.

    • Monitoring customer satisfaction levels and conducting satisfaction surveys.

    • Customer escalation point – ensuring any issues are dealt with swiftly and in a professional manner.

    • Manage busy in-box; customer queries re: products, technical queries and liaise with the technical team and channel.

    • Expand existing business within allocated account contracts, proactively seeking opportunities for up / cross selling additional products, services and solutions.

    • Develop new business opportunities and revenue streams, following up potential leads and undertaking target account ‘call out’ days.

    • Proactively market Esdebe Consultancy and their products and services.

    • Ensuring CRM is maintained and up-to-date, adding new account information, quotations, attaching relevant documentation, sales orders and regular reporting.

    • Liaising with suppliers and distributors to ensure correct pricing strategies.

    • Raising quotations, invoices, downloading monthly price books from vendor portals.

    • Assisting the internal sales / technical teams, supporting with CRM quotations, updating sales orders.

    • Attending weekly sales and marketing calls to ensure the team is kept up-to-date on their accounts.

    • Providing weekly and ad-hoc management reports.

    • Monthly product reviews with suppliers to ensure the Esdebe team are kept updated with replacements, new products in the market-place.

    • Regular customer communication based on compliance to reporting agreements.

    • Responsible for contract P&L and all commercial customer related issues.

    • Financial control: raising quotations and purchase orders.

    • Budget and forecasting for existing and planned new business.
